We had a detailed discussion with the NOC technical staff and they assured us that this upgrade will result in very minimal downtime. In their own words, "The upgrade should result in very little downtime. In fact, we can schedule the removal of your old servers from the rack (once you have verified that we have transferred the data correctly) for a time late at night, to create minimal disturbance. The downtime would be the amount of time required to pull the old servers from the rack and replace them with your new servers; fairly minimal." They have re-scheduled the migration of data on Tuesday - Wednesday (7/22/08) because their most of the technical staff are available during the week (i.e. Mon - Fri).
